Is farming hfff for luxon worth it? I am trying to get the gwamm title and without survivor, I'm gonna have to do kurz/luxon, treasure hunter, or wisdom. Wisdom seems to be too expensive at 5k/7 golds and treasure hunter can still be a little expensive after selling all un id gold. So since I'd rather stay in my luxon guild, is going for the max luxon title worth it? I found a decent build that can do the luxon arena quest fairly fast, but it seems like it would take forever to max it, although on the plus side I'd make enough money for party animal and sweet tooth, so what do you guys think?

I wouldn't do it; hell, I wouldn't do the kurzick hfff, and the luxon hfff takes twice as long. Mindless grinding isn't my cup of tea though, so I guess it depends on you; if you're really set on maxing luxon, I'd say just do ab for a few months constantly; at least you'd be having fun, though I think it would still become a grind after a while.

Id say Just F Luxon just farm like 1m or whatever it costs for sweet tooth

But I suppose getting max lux wouldnet be to bad....if you dont have a life then i would probably do it if i was you though

and also with Farming lux from AB you'll make money from Z keys which might help

If you are dead set on going for GWAMM, Kurzick and Treasure Hunter will be the fastest, each clocking in at about 10k minutes assuming 50 seconds per run for Kurzick FF (donated to alliance) and 1 min per chest for Treasure Hunter.

While raising Treasure Hunter you will gain some progress towards Lucky and Wisdom points obviously, but you will be spending a large amount of money and over the long run you almost definitely wont make it back selling the items you find unless you spend a huge amount of time marketing 500-1k gold weapons/mods.

Kurzick FF on the other hand will be making money, where maxing the title would give you 1.875 million gold. Obviously of course, donating to a kurzick alliance would be difficult for you unless you can put up with constantly getting invites into the other side.

Luxon FF at best makes about 1.5 minutes each run doing the jade arena quest (might be slightly slower depending on how fast you fight, but you can also pay for the bounty for about a 25% boost in faction gain) or about 2 minutes per run doing their HFF. So Luxon side takes about %50-100 longer then Kurzick along with being a bit more difficult to do. Expect about 250 hours of time invested for max rank luxon. Obviously this will be lower if you factor in AB or any work you have done so far.

Tbh neither is worth it. Getting to GWAMM is pointless to me, after you get MGHSLRM (or whatever the hell R5 is) the rest are just pointless grinding and money spending. Personally, I have better things to do with 1000 hours of my life.

If you want to know if lux HFFF is worth it, it might as well be seeing as though you don't want to go kurz.

After buying Sweet Tooth, Drunkard, & Party Hunter you have 29 titles so you need 1 more. I personally would go kurzick, but thats because its the fastest/easiest of the remaining titles.

There is a similar quest to the lutgardis fff, but it takes longer, albeit being easier, so it is possible.

I suppose the final question to decide it is are you going to sit there and grind it, or you gonna use a bot? I know anet doesnt condone bots, and they say they are on the look out for it, but have you been to lutgardis. The number of bots there is insane, so imo you can get away with being a bot there. So if ur gonna bot it, then Luxon is fine. If not then I wouldnt bother.

Oh and I wouldnt bot that title, because its pointless now, and because to me mghsorm is as good as gwamm, because all the non time/money based titles are completed.

I`m on 28 titles now, done the Kurzick Saviour (no bots) earned a lot of gold, bought Sweets title and half of Party title.And now i just can`t imagine myself doin more AB, HFFF or FFF on Luxon side (even i`m back in my old Luxon guild) it`s just to damn slow and boring !!!
After i finish Party title (if Anet actualy makes some Party weekend, insted of lame Arena weekends, which we had like in HUGE amounts lately) i still have Drunkard i can max, and it would actualy be the PERFECT title to get GWAMM, once u do everything in game u become DRUNKARD (kind of poetic justice :P) !
And yes once u attain all the "playable' titles u have MGSORM which is WORTHY by all means more than 30 title GWAMM (simply cause those last five are always "grind like", "gold sinkin`" titles that don`t worth S*** !!!

Well here's the thing, I can't really handle grind. I've tried a lot of other free mmo's and quit within like 2 weeks because of the high amount of grind. I don't see a problem with all the other titles such as vanquishing and skill capping because those can be kind of fun and not so repetitive. I already have enough beer for the drunkard title (50% way done heh). And honestly I wouldn't want to quit my guild just to join a kurzick alliance for the title either. 250-300 hours seems like a lot to me. Doing that math, 2 hrs a day would take 125-150 days to max luxon, with no time to do other titles... think i'd rather cut myself... (not really). I'd just rather not be stuck with 29 titles in the end. Chest running seems the fastest since I can get like 1 chest per min (166 hrs or so) but I'd have to figure out a way to farm the money. Doing chest runs in NM would give me a much higher lock pick return rate though.

Oh btw, I thought the devs said they were working on a way for maxing pve rank titles for skills... any chance this could include kurzick/luxon?

Don't think so, the problem with making the title grind shorter is that it makes everyone who has done it already really, really mad. They already made it so that you get 2x through donating to faction and just doing that spawned dozens of threads of people complaining about it. Think how pissed you would be if you spent a year of grinding an hour a day and then the next month the title is 50% shorter. Anet's plan seems to be buffing the low side of title skills so that low levels aren't at as much at a disadvantage compared to high levels, as you can see from the last update. Good if you want the skills, bad if you just want the title.
